DMCA Policy

No Bake Energy Bites respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998, the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at https://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the No Bake Energy Bites website or services, provided they are reported to our designated Copyright Agent as described below.

This policy describes the information that should be present in a notification of alleged infringement, as well as what to do if you are the recipient of a DMCA takedown notice.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with a written communication containing the following information:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including the title of the work, and if applicable, the URL where the original or an authorized copy of the copyrighted work can be found (e.g., specific recipes, images of our energy bites, or descriptive text).
  3. A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the No Bake Energy Bites site, with enough detail that we may find it on the website (e.g., the specific URL(s) of the page(s) containing the material).
  4. Your contact information, including your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent with the following information:

  • Your electronic or physical signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which No Bake Energy Bites may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of infringement or an agent of such person.
